Moses Fountain - Roma

La ubicación es maravillosa. Mi esposo y yo nos movimos con facilidad por toda la ciudad, además de que Lapo ( el manager ) nos dio su celular por si necesitábamos información o ayuda en cualquier momento. Nos recomendó restaurantes deliciosos y muy locales, ninguna trampa turística; y nos dio tips sobre los museos y las Iglesias y sitios de interés. El desayuno es estilo europeo (ligero), el minibar está incluido en el precio y el cuarto en que nos quedamos maravilloso, comfortable y muy limpio. Es un hotel fuera de lo común pero sin duda cuando volvamos a Roma pretendemos hospedarnos aqui de nuevo.

Hotel único y con mucho encanto y bien situado para moverse con libertad por toda la ciudad. Habitación muy romántica y acogedora. La nuestra (Theresa) tenía baño turco. E incluye mini bar (con refrescos, zumos y agua). En definitiva, una estancia muy recomendable para estar 2 o 3 noches especiales en pareja.

La peculiaridad del hotel tiene algunos pequeños handicaps negativos. No tiene recepción, la cual cosa puede hacerte esperar en la calle algunos minutos hasta que te abren. Ya que y al ser un hotel con pocas habitaciones, sólo tiene 1 persona trabajando (encargada de desayunos, limpieza y hacer check in y check out. El desayuno es bastante mejorable y no está a la altura del hotel y del precio por noche. Aunque se te sirve en la misma habitación y es un muy buen punto a favor. Echamos en falta un poco más de atención por parte del personal, ya que era nuestra primera visita a Roma, y siempre viene bien consejos de dónde ir a cenar, qué visitar y no perderse bajo ningún concepto... Pero sólo se nos indicó que teníamos un mapa en la habitación.

The Moses Fountain was an exceptional hotel - we found the staff (when we saw them) friendly and helpful. The facilities were brilliant including a free mini bar which we did not expect and also on our last night a bottle of Red Wine and chocolates was left for us - what a treat!! We will definitely recommend to our friends and visit again!!!!

It wasn't made clear how to contact reception or how to get our breakfast - so we skipped it both days. This is not a complaint just a development point. We were so pleased with the hotel it really didn't matter.

The Hotel was located in a perfect position for walking to all attractions. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in all aspects of our stay and even provided us with a list of Restaurants to eat in, which were fantastic. The hotel itself lived up to our expectations, it is on quite a busy street but we were so tired at the end of each day so the traffic noise was not a problem for us. I would recommend this hotel and will definately be returning in the future.

The staff were extremely helpful and informative, the hotel was superb and the location was perfect for exploring the city. All in all this was one of the best holidays I have ever had. Truly can not rate the Moses Fountain Hotel highly enough or their staff. This is a small hotel that truly gives you a sense you are personally being looked after.

Good location, was able to walk to all major sights, restaurants & close to the Metro station. Friendly, informative & helpful staff. Comfortable, clean & well designed room, quite noisy due to location - over a busy main road & although very authentic next to a fountain the first night it was left running & the room & bed literally vibrated leaving us suffering from lack of sleep for the first day.Continental breakfast served on a tray in the room on request, can be taken on the terrace if weather permits. It was well presented & fresh. Enjoyed the privacy of the accommodation, no reception, we could come & go as we pleased, like staying in a serviced apartment with the convenience of having a member of staff at the end of the phone to assist with any request. Overall a great trip.

Would have liked some comfortable fluffy duvets to snuggle into after a long day walking around Rome.

Reasonable location being 10 minutes walk from the main station. Friendly staff, free minibar, breakfast in room at no extra cost. Modern and clean room.

Although cots are free and high chairs are available, there are 3 flights of stairs. If you use a push chair you may need to think twice about this place. The place has no reception but staff will meet you and it is difficult to find (a wooden door on the main road).

Very personal service and luxury room. Staff were all very helpful and obliging. Would definately stay again. Room was lovely and spacious and had all the mod cons!

Noisy location - on a street junction

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was bigger than expected with a beautiful bathroom. The location was within the city, safe, but away from all of the touristy carts and attractions. Breakfast was included and always substantial. Wonderful patio area to enjoy a glass of wine or chat.

if you are a private person, this may not be the place for you. the staff is so welcoming and service-oriented, they do a daily clean up and daily turn-down service - there are no 'do not disturb' signs.

Brilliant hotel. Perfect for couples who like understated luxury - Mr & Mrs Smith/ Hotel du Vin etc - contemporary, stylish. Excellent service/ staff - charming, incredibly helpful - given a full rundown on Rome, good restaurant recommendations etc. Location decent - 20 minutes walk to most tourist attractions, 40mins to Vatican. Good value. Highly recommend. Ignore guest photos - very unflattering!

There is a slight, low level hum from the fountain. If you're a very light sleeper it could be an issue. Having said that, I'd classify my wife as a light sleeper and it didn't bother her...

Chic design; Friendly service; Convenient location; In-room Krups espresso machine; Free mini bar; Etro toiletries; Value for money.

The hotel is well located and has large and well appointed rooms. You do however have to climb 70 steps to get to the rooms so if that is aproblem then don't go. Staff are friendly and speak good English and the owner is on hand at all times to assist and advise. A great stay in agreat location.

There was nothing we didn't like. Whilst we were there it was our 44th wedding anniversary and Andrea the owner left us a card and a gift, that's the sort of specila treatment you get there.
